19 Everything is within His will. But God proclaims that whoever says “I am not doing but God is making me do this” is Iblis or following in his footsteps. It is the same thing if you come to Shariah or Tariqah (i.e., Sufism). It does not matter. Shariah is only a dry branch. But Tariqah is a branch fallen in water where you will find that you cannot do anything. It says: Everything happens from God, everything happens with God's will, so leading your life in accord with this belief is Islam. A revolutionary person even like Hasrat Mohani who, at a time when many prominent leaders of Congress were satisfied with only Dominion status, stood up in defiance to them and demanded complete freedom even, he, when it came to belief in Iman, said: Be not against the will of God For me, please do not pray to God The sorry state of present Islam Dear friends! These things are not poetry. These are not just beliefs. These are neither from any village mullah. Our Islam has become this. This is the Islam of the period of tyranny of 1000 years ago that has come down to us in this form. But the real problem is that whenever someone raised a voice against this perverted version of Islam developed during kingship, he was told that it is all done by God; that it is God who made them kings; so, keep quiet? Friends! Tyranny and oppression has come down to us nonstop since thousand years. This belief in Taqdir has gone into our every vein. From how many places can we try to root it out? These beliefs have infused every particle of our blood. They have penetrated our very soul and have become part of our deepest Iman. The entire Tariqah is full of such beliefs in Taqdir. The entire Shariah is loaded with such beliefs. What a wonderful life! No need to worry!! Be happy!!! Dear friends! I had told you in the beginning that in today's dars if we could complete just one verse then it should be fine. Today, we completed verses 5 and 6. We will continue the next dars from verse 7 onwards which will provide even more details related to what we have been discussing in the previous verses. O our Sustainer! Accept our humble efforts because you are fully aware of what we speak and what is hidden in our hearts. (2:127)
