8 said: their mothers had given birth to them as free human beings. Who are you to make them slaves? “Given birth as free human beings” echoes the same meaning of the Qur'an that says: All human being are entitled to equal dignity as a birthright. Dear friends! Now, let us come to the point that any belief, or any act, or any system that usurps the right of choice or if it puts any roadblocks in its way, then it is against the Will of Allah and it is against the Qur'an. The first important principle in this regard is that the system of government should be such that no human being should rule over any other human being. Now, look at the irony!? This Ummah broke this principle after a very short time. Christians, Jews or Hindus did not break this but the very people who had the Qur'an in their hands did it. And, by the way, they are the ones who had been called the inheritors of this Book. Well, here is the next irony!! They not only broke the principle cited above but they installed hereditary kingship in their land, the worst form of government of the rule of humans over humans. This is self-evident. There is no need to get into details on this or get into long debates about this. Human commandments instead of Allah's commandments Dear friends! Please pay careful attention to this fundamental point: The Qur'an had given human beings the dignity of freewill and freedom of choice. But they, the hereditary kings, took that way. And the commands they implemented were not of Allah's but of human's. This human rule over other humans is the main source of compulsion and exploitation but is kept hidden from the human radar by religious priests. We call this theocracy. Just look at this from historical perspective. Umayyads (661-750) have gone. Abbasids (750-1258) have gone. All their power is gone. Their state is gone. The rulers have gone. All of these have gone. But the laws they created using the services of the religious leaders still continue to dominate us. For example, they made law that women have no right to provide witness. No matter what happened in the world; It is the same burden, it is the same road! Until today we have the same laws. Those kings have gone. Their kingdoms have gone. Their governments have gone. The public laws they had created for running their states, they too have gone. But the Shariah laws they created in the name of religion, these are still with us and we cannot escape from their tentacles. We cannot utter a single word against these laws. What to say of changing them, we cannot even say anything against them because this will be tantamount to heresy and this will be
