13 you cannot say anything against it even now! That is the greatest irony! and a great tragedy for the Ummah! Those kings have gone! Their governments have gone! But the rule of the Shariah is supposed to continue till the Day of Judgment!! It is continuing today. Take, for example, this concept of Taqdir. The ideology entered into the faith that the human destiny is already predetermined by God. A whole group of so-called experts then started predicting future through the position of stars in the sky. The Qur'an said 1300 years ago that Allah has made these stars subservient to human beings and they have the ability to have control over them (22:65). And the Qur'an also said that a time will come when you can see them with your own eyes. Now, if our Taqdir is tied to those celestial bodies, then the American astronauts' Taqdir is also tied to them. But they flew and landed there with their shoes on. This is worth pondering over: Whose Taqdir is tied to whom? Now those American astronauts will do whatever they want with these planets and stars. They have acquired enormous power through scientific research, and they will continue to acquire more and more. The Qur'an said: “And He has made subservient to you, [as a gift] from Himself, all that is in the heavens and on earth: in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who think!” (45:13). Allahu Akbar! This is the rightful place of humanity. This is the achievement that Adam deserves, in front of whom the angels prostrated; the forces of nature bowed down in front of him. And this was the teaching of the Qur'an. But the religious priesthood said that our Taqdir is tied with the stars. Today we call it astrology and those with this knowledge are called astrologers. You must be receiving pamphlets on this delivered to your homes. These astrologers are not from your run-of-the mill mullahs or quacks sitting on footpaths. They occupy high places who publish popular Magazines and pamphlets. Strangely enough, they call this astrology Islamic astrology to fool people! How wonderful is this “tauhidi shirk”? Iqbal has said this beautifully through the voice of Iblis in his poem titled Advisory Council of Iblis: “I have taught these poor fellows the lesson of Taqdir”! The advisory council of Iblis Dear friends! When someone becomes poor then he becomes helpless and destitute. No one wants to help him. No one wants to listen about his misery. The law does not help him nor does the society. He does not get justice. Poor and helpless humans, as if, do not exist in the eyes of the society.
