11 groom riding on a horse with great fanfare. It is essentially meaningless to ask him for his agreement. Dear friends! We make fun of this 'Ijab-o-qabool'. Allah told in the Qur'an: Do not make fun of my verses. Who are the people seeking the agreement? According to the Qur'an, when the girl and the boy agree, only then the Nikah is valid. But, according to our tradition, if an adult girl selects a boy and does Nikah without the permission of the guardian then the guardian has the right to declare that Nikah null-and-void. What happened to the right of choice and freewill of the boy and the girl? Obviously, it got transferred to the guardian! Talaaq Talaaq Talaaq End of the story In any case, the Nikah at least requires the agreement of two parties. But to break it, only one person has all the authority the husband. He says the word 'Talaaq' three times and the marriage is dissolved according to the Shariah. The wife can cry all she wants, but her right has been usurped. Also, at the time of making the union not many people outside the invited guests know about it. But, at the time of breaking the union the whole world knows about it. The man giving the Talaaq loudly boasts in public and proclaims proudly that I have given the Talaaq. Let her cry so what? It is written in her fate. Everything is decided in Heaven. Nobody can say anything. The victim has no recourse. The final chance is her father's home. When she goes there the father does not let her enter the house. He says: My daughter! From this house when the palanquin has gone, dead body is the only thing that can come to this house. Sixth component of Iman Dear friends! What do we have here? There is no need to take one issue at a time. It is a question of fundamental human right, i.e., the freedom of choice and freewill,
